Terms of Use
Published with Dominique’s approval. These terms describe the current prototype build and have not received attorney review.
Operator and purpose
Made Sick is an independent creator directory and research prototype operated by Dominique Devereaux / Loptr Lab. It is not operated by Sick Boi Ltd or by artists referenced in public examples. A listing is not enrollment, endorsement, partnership or a verified medical account.
Participation and public information
Participation is optional. Authenticate only through your chosen identity provider and review the public record before publishing. Share only material you have permission to publish. You retain rights in your contributions; making a public record does not grant unrestricted reuse of it. Deleting a participant record does not recall external copies. Financial support does not buy participation, employment, authority or ownership. Separate signed agreements govern any paid work.
Existing licenses remain in force
The repository’s MIT software license and stated exclusions govern covered software and documentation. These terms do not withdraw those permissions or license excluded editorial material, artists’ names, trademarks or biographies. Fonts have their own licenses. The new homepage illustration is AI-generated fictional imagery; earlier source-art provenance remains unresolved. Attribution alone is not rights clearance.
Feedback and private messages
You keep rights in feedback. Public GitHub discussions are visible under GitHub’s terms, but public visibility is not an additional license for reuse elsewhere. We may use feedback to fix the issue raised. Before republishing substantive feedback, agree on scope and credit unless an existing license already permits that use. Private email is not permission to quote or publish it. Contributor agreements remain separate.
Prototypes and external services
Availability and features may change. Public retrieval can be incomplete or wrong; check original sources. External websites, media players, identity providers and personal data servers have their own terms and policies. Consent to load an external tool permits that connection; it does not grant rights to reuse its contents or enroll you in a community.
Responsible use and corrections
Do not disrupt services, seek unauthorized access, harass others or submit confidential records. Use public issue reports only for non-sensitive problems. Send private corrections and rights requests to questions@loptrlab.com, identifying the page and requested correction. Reports are reviewed; a published disclaimer does not establish that a disputed statement is true.
Limits and review
The prototype is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted service or accuracy. It is not medical, legal or financial advice, a diagnosis, a rights clearance or a professional relationship. Existing software-license warranty terms apply to covered software. Nothing here excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Privacy and AI disclosure
Read Privacy & your choices for data flows and controls, and how the design was made for human decisions, generated material and limitations. ChatGPT/Codex drafted these terms from the project’s code and existing notices at Dominique’s request; they have not received attorney review.
